I am a Korean American licensed marriage and family therapist, certified Brainspotting practitioner, Prepare/Enrich certified, and Restoration Therapy level II trained clinician. I provide virtual therapy to clients across California, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, Orange County, and the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 5 years of experience in diverse settings, including community mental health, private practice, faith-based settings, and schools, I work hard to foster a safe and supportive space for you to create the meaningful, lasting change you’ve been seeking.
I focus my clinical work with adult children of immigrants, working professionals, entrepreneurs, advocacy leaders, those in the helping profession, chronic people pleasers, couples of all life stages, adult third culture kids, expats, those hurt by the church, and folx wanting to process their racial, cultural, spiritual, and professional identities. My focus includes depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, burnout, shame spirals, relational conflict, self-neglect, poor boundaries, and family-of-origin traumas. Clients across the gender spectrum have shared how feeling safe with me has played a key part in their healing from past experiences with people, especially cisgender men. Regardless of your challenges, my goal is to help you break out of the unhelpful patterns of the past and support your growth into a more fulfilled and confident self.
My approach incorporates both practical tools and meaningful insight to discover a new way of living and embrace your most authentic self. I support working professionals in navigating work-life balance, couples in discovering a new way of communicating, people pleasers in overcoming guilt around self-care, Asian American men in redefining masculinity, and adult children of immigrants in setting helpful boundaries to improve their relationships. I hope to illuminate your experiences and empower you to break unhelpful patterns and live with greater freedom, peace, and connection.

I utilize the Restoration Therapy model to help clients identify and break free from painful patterns of the past to live with more freedom and peace. My goal is to empower you to live and experience life differently—you can heal from your pain. Even as I commit to hearing your story, I also don’t wish to play a passive role in just listening. That’s why I take an active role in guiding you toward experiencing change. Many of my clients find themselves driven by shame, and I am passionate about exploring alternative motivators to replace that shame. In my work, I also integrate cutting-edge neuroscience research by using Brainspotting, a somatic-based therapy model, to help you toward profound and lasting healing. Together, we can unravel the past to pave the way toward a more functional and fulfilling life.
