*note on a sliding scale
A sliding scale is any amount below the therapist’s full fee. We offer a sliding scale as low as $100 on a short-term basis based on evidence of need and availability. All of our clinicians hold slots for lower-fee clients and are working to provide more slots for services for people unable to access therapy support. Please inquire about availability and discuss your current situation to determine how we can assist you. You can also check out resources for lower-fee clinics that are less than $100 here.
Payment Accepted
We primarily use IvyPay, a HIPAA-compliant platform allowing you to use credit cards, debit cards, and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). For insurance, we can provide a superbill as an out-of-network provider for some PPO health insurance plans. Learn more about navigating therapy and your insurance in our FAQs.
'No Surprises Act Notice' and Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychotherapy services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 985-635-4040.
