A support group is not therapy. It’s a psychoeducational group with an emphasis on learning practical skills with safe people that can lead to powerful change in your life. These support groups can be accessed virtually from anywhere in the world.
getting unstuck in your relationship
This is an 8-week psychoeducational support group designed for those of you who feel stuck with a perpetual problem in a committed partnership and want to build relational awareness as well as learn tools to create more connection with your partner. This group is led by Elizabeth Rhee, LMFT #122155 and consists of 6-8 participants (not including the therapist) and lasts between 1.5-2 hours per group. Limited sliding scale is available upon inquiry.
You will benefit from this support group if you want to:
Explore you and your partner’s attachment and relationship styles
Identify the unhelpful stories about your identity/safety and your fight or flight survival mechanisms that keep you stuck
Gain awareness of how your personality/temperament differences play into your pattern of conflict
Learn practical tools to proactively prevent escalation of or de-escalate conflict
Empower yourself with new stories about your identity and sense of safety
Effectively communicate skills and boundaries
Create more meaningful moments of connection to nurture yourself and your partner for a sustainable future
