A support group is not therapy. It’s a psychoeducational group with an emphasis on learning practical skills with safe people that can lead to powerful change in your life. These support groups can be accessed virtually from anywhere in the world.
CHristian religious trauma
This is a 10-week psychoeducational support group designed to provide you with the opportunity to share about your experiences with Christian faith specifically in the evangelical context within a safe group setting and increase your autonomy in engagement with your spirituality. People from different seasons of their spiritual journeys are welcome. Whether you no longer identify with any faith or are beginning to deconstruct your spirituality with hopes to discover a spirituality that is more aligned with your values, this group welcomes honest conversations about your spirituality. The group is led by Samuel Kim, LMFT #141541 or Hanna Byeon, LMFT #126398 and consist of 5-8 participants (not including the therapist). Limited sliding scale is available upon inquiry.
