nature / ecotherapy
combining psychotherapy, movement, & nature
We offer limited slots of in-person nature / ecotherapy at various locations close to our Los Angeles and Pasadena offices in California.
nature / ecotherapy
Our relationship with the natural world, including the beautiful landscape that we are surrounded by in Los Angeles & Pasadena, California, is just as essential as our human relationships. While traditional psychotherapy helps you deepen the quality of your relationships with people and yourself, ecotherapy takes it a step further by combining psychotherapy, movement, and nature to support you in the healing journey. During a ecotherapy session, you and your therapist will move your session outdoors for the purpose of connecting with nature to aid in improving your mental health. This reconnection serves to remind us that we are a part of ecosystems, rather than separate from them. The outdoor setting will be collaboratively determined by you and the therapist, and activities may include walking, hiking on local trails, or sitting in a beautiful garden nearby one of our offices. You may discover that being in nature and engaging in movement with talk therapy can help you process your feelings and thoughts more effectively, make new meanings of your experiences, navigate your relationships better, and deepen your care for yourself, others, and our environment.
nature / ecotherapy may help you:
Learn to integrate the power of movement to manage stress, anxiety, depression, & traumas
