As a Taiwanese licensed marriage and family therapist, Brainspotting & EMDR practitioner, and registered art therapist based in Los Angeles and Pasadena, California, I bring over 4 years of experience working in community mental health and private practice settings where I supported individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds who are suffering from relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I currently focus my clinical work with Asian American couples and other minority couples who are looking for a supportive space to improve communication and deepen their connection. My experience includes therapy with couples who are married, dating, child-free, and LGBTQ+. Aside from traditional couples therapy, I also provide discernment counseling and infidelity/betrayal trauma therapy for couples who are seeking to make informed decisions about the future of their relationship.
I also enjoy working with individuals for short-term therapy, addressing specific trauma-related issues and navigating complicated relationship dynamics with partners and families. Whether you are going through a breakup with a loved one or trying to troubleshoot issues in your relationships, I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we uncover your needs through warmth, curiosity and compassion. My intention is to create a trauma-informed and culturally affirming space that values your human need for connection. In addition to my role as a therapist, I also identify as the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, and I am fluent in Mandarin.

I help couples increase intimacy and healthy communication through a warm and structured approach. I also provide discernment counseling for couples who are at a crossroads and are seeking support to assess if they would like to continue their relationship. In addition to couples therapy, I am also trained in Brainspotting and Eye Movement Rapid Desensitization (EMDR). I offer individual therapy to clients who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder.
Therapist-Client Fit is important to the therapy experience
