A support group is not therapy. It’s a psychoeducational group with an emphasis on learning practical skills with safe people that can lead to powerful change in your life. These support groups can be accessed virtually from anywhere in the world.

 

summer 2024

Dating well

This is a 10-week psychoeducational support group designed to provide you with the opportunity to have a safe space to share and better navigate the modern dating experience. This group is led by Elizabeth Rhee, LMFT #122155 or Esther Kim, LMFT #123592 virtually or in-person at the Pasadena office, and will consist of 6-8 participants (not including the therapist). Limited sliding scale is available upon inquiry.

The following topics will be covered:

 

Identify your dating & attachment styles

Address the unhelpful beliefs and patterns that cause repetitive relationship dynamics

Learn how to navigate the challenges (e.g. ghosting, hook up culture) in modern dating

Create fun dating experiences

How to deal with rejection with confidence

Utilize somatic tools to build a secure self

Understand chemistry, compatibility, red/green flags, and deal breakers

Get clear on your ideal partner and the traits that really matter

Manage societal, cultural, and familial pressures and expectations

Get peer feedback and celebrate growth and progress
